My Walmart has dropped the Endurance for a new 20k Purolator

same for me, delayed with no expected delivery date
I bought a Walmart 6-pack of FE9972 before well runs dry and planned to do 10K filter changes just like before with my old-school 100% synthetic Fram Ultras.

Not that I will be adding to my box full of new unused filters buying these, but they said two ply media. That’s new. Hope they start telling the micron rating, from their USA test lab. I guess not since the boxes are already being made.
I got the plus membership just so I don't have to go in the store. Free road hazard with tires and they'll deliver a can of soup if the mood strikes.
We have the plus as well for grocery delivery but I love me a good Wallyworld visit.
I have a Meijer store a half mile from Walmart. Way less anxiety inducing from start to finish. Although I have scored some unbelievable tire deals from Walmart in the last year. I just drop a car off and pick it up at closing to make sure they have a full 12 hrs to install.

I never claimed anything about efficiency, that was you based on your opinion
. It just seems to me there was a misunderstanding and you assumed I was talking about some sort of efficiency specs but again, I never mentioned anything about efficiency. You misunderstood me when I said "specs". You just went on your assumption of what I meant. It would be best to ask so you can understand ones statements and it could save you some time next time. Its pretty interesting the M&H has not knocked Fram off the premium shelf at Walmart.
Maybe it inspires FRAM to do better? Would be the most positive outcome because I am not using Purolator.

I don’t know many folks that buy oil filters at Wal Mart. That’s what I see in my area. Most go to Rural King or AAP for quality filters.
I cannot imagine that Walmart would dedicate an entire large shelf to oil filters if no one bought them. The oil filter section has greatly expanded at Walmart - not shrunk. Walmart only cares about earns and turns.
Realize that your in the know also. I have only Walmart, the big Auto retails (at high prices) or order online. No Rural King here. No Menards. None of the cool places you other lucky folks have.
Thats fine the TG is much cheaper and has the same efficiency.
