Over the last 4-5 months I’ve been reporting here that the Endurance shelf at my local Walmart has been shrinking. Today it was totally gone and replaced with a new 20k mile Purolator. I’m guessing it’s a new Walmart exclusive.

I'm counting that as strike one. Since my Fram stash is running low and reports here have been indicating for quite a while that Fram made some changes. It appears not for the better since I last bought filters, so I'm on the lookout for something to change over to. I ruled Purolator out when they switched to the Puke colored Pure One filters many years ago. I was considering giving them another shot, but it looks like they might be striking out again...........cheaper media than the wire-backed Endurance and of course they're still prone to tears and/or ADBV slit
The Endurance has been on the naughty list for a while with the leaf spring leakage. Sad another wire backed option bites the dust. Maybe the ultra ecore will improve.
Just in there yesterday, not here, at least not yet. Interesting description, not a Boss but 'perhaps' enhanced P1 media? ~$8.50 off the shelf price for the 7317 application, not bad. As I've had solid results (all c&p here) on Hondas /Nissan with the P1 PL14610/14612- US Bosch Prem. 3323, I'll give the 7317 a look.
As a related aside, I noticed they raised the price on the China made wire backed media XG Pentastar cartridge so that it's now more than the same FE (~$13) cartridge. Crazy. Also noticed more Super Tech cartridges now made like the wire backed Toyota cartridge including but not limited to the GM Ecotec engine cartridge, also US made.
Wonder if the FE filters just not selling.

Claims 99% efficiency with no micron rating on the box or website. Louvers and silicone adbv.

I see they are still using vague (IMO deceptive) 99% dirt holding marketing blather. Efficiency is likely low, it is rated 20k and Purolator has shown a propensity to sacrifice efficiency to get high capacity for extended OCIs. Glorified P1 or some kind of hybrid with the Boss?

I wish I could roll the clock back and stock up on OG Ultras but I missed that opportunity.
"Exceeds OE Performance" No worse than an OE filter & it can stay in for a lot longer. Obviously, they're making it cheaper than the Boss line since I'm not seeing any "SmartFusion" reinforced media being mentioned on the website & being a WM "Exclusive".

The video, one side of the box and @Glenda W. it looks like your in store picture all show louvers. Another side of the box looks like it is showing a plastic cage. Guessing that is not going to happen unless it is just select part numbers. Puro dumping the half open louvers for a plastic cage would have been an upgrade.
The one I took out of the box had louvers.
Has M&H ever made an e- core? I thought that was only a first brands thing?

- Assuming mostly "Made in USA"?
