I recently junked my 93 Aerostar and couldn't pass on a car my father was going to trade in. I figure this will get me through until I'm ready to pull the trigger on the new Wrangler.
These are shots from a 2000 Century which had 84,655 miles when I got it. It was dealer serviced up until 18,325 miles then Avis Lube serviced, and a local shop serviced it for my dad. It got 3,000 mile Conventional oil changes, some were a hair under 3K some a little over, no OCI exceeded 3,500 miles. My father is in his 80's and there is no telling him to run the oil any longer. It got Mobil, Kendall, or Pennzoil products, and a no frills filter. I have every invoice for service since day 1, he was the original owner. This is severe service Long Island NY use.
This what it looked like when I started.
So much for conventional keeping an engine varnish free. There was no sludge visible, just heavy varnish. No coolant is being lost.
Here is a before shot, my wife took the first during shots. I will continue to update this thread in real time if there is enough of an interest. This should prove if Kreen works or not at cleaning up varnish, and how long it takes.
Start Kreen 9/20/12 84,752 miles.

Kreen 9/24/12 84,813 miles.
This is after 61 miles. The improvement was pretty impressive, I'm only sorry my wife didn't take the first shot.

The current fill is a Mobil product which had close to 3K miles on it. I was planning on using Kreen for the last 1,000 miles of the OCI, so this worked out well. I might dump it early depending on how things look. This will be the longest OCI this car ever had.
I will try and do updates in as close to real time as possible, as opposed to way after the fact. Real time will keep things on the up and up, and hopefully benefit someone here.
Disclaimer/warning- Please don't turn this into a flame war, or attacking me on my photo skills, or methods. I do plan on cleaning the exterior of the engine for you guys thinking I switched cars or something like that [assuming we see positive results]. If it gets out of hand I will stop posting pictures and updating this thread.
It did have a slight tick, which was gone in about 20 minutes of errand running.
