Mobil 1 0W-30

Went to my local AAP today for some M1 0W-30 Advanced Fuel Economy, and since they did not have any, I asked the guy behind the counter when they would have some. He replied "we won't be getting any more as it has been discontinued". He checked his computer to see if any of their other stores in the area had any, and drew a blank.
Can someone shed some light on this? Is the AFE 0W-30 really being phased out?

AAP is probably just discontinued it,AFE is a great seller Mobil isnt phasing it out anytime soon im sure.

It is a decent oil and I bet Mobil 1 hasn't discontinued it. I have found the workers at auto parts stores don't always know exactly what they are talking about.

Mobil 1's 0w-30 was my oil of choice for the Ranger until I found Pennzoil Platinum.

Walmart has it in quarts and jugs.
The quarts are for those who prefer to give Walmart a little more money.

if you arent dead set on 0w30.

What he meant to say but poorly worded was AAP has discontinued carrying it.
