That was half the point, we all have seen/done viscosity-mixology but we don't call the result SAE.

Today, many of them can't put together an engine that runs very long on anything.

The oil recommendations certainly arent helping.

A local engine (re)builder for AMG her ein Europe often laments on occaision how fuel dilution is lowering the viscosities.
And those AMG engines start with 0w-40 and/or 5w-40.....
