What a strange statement. I never heard of milk beings solely a children's drink.
I also like my coffee black, with no added pumps of chemical flavoring, as well as cold, not ice-cold, beer. A strong double IPA, fruity New England IPA, Scotch Ale, etc all taste like, well, coldness, not beer when they're too cold (i.e., freezing or just below). I like my beer at around 40F. I know that's still too cold for some Europeans, but it's just right for me; a good combination of tasty and refreshing.
Speaking of warm beer: when I was in Kenya, they drank their Tuskers at ROOM temperature. I tried it to be polite, but it was terrible and foamy. They all laughed and provided us with the expected ice-cold ale, to our satisfaction, considering it was hotter than Hades there!
Kindred spirit here. Half and half in coffee and that’s it. A glass of of milk? No way. But if I run out of half and half then ok with the whole milk. Wife drinks skim milk. Ugh!I’ll be the outlier here. 1/2 and 1/2 in my coffee and 100 proof whole milk.
Ahhh nothing like the correct temperature IPA! NE cloudy? Yes Sir, I'm in. Black coffee only for me and I like it iced as well as hot. The stronger the better. If it isn't coffee, tea, beer, wine, Polar seltzer, it's water.
Soy milk is really good. I also drink almond milk.Since I’ve lost a lot of weight and been eating healthier I drink oat milk. Almond milk I tried, couldn’t stand the chalky taste. Even gave up the occasional buttermilk I love. What is the milk of choice in your household?
While I like the taste, there is something about kefir that just does not agree with my stomach, and it took me a while to realize it. I thought kefir was the cure.Whole milk is the only way, whole milk kefir has changed my life too![]()
If it had clumps, it sounds like it may have already gone bad. Keep any milk long enough, and it'll start getting clumpy.Whole only that’s the only kind that isn’t nasty. It’s a shame I have to buy my own milk because my dad only will drink 2% or butter milk and my mom can’t drink milk she can only use it in cereal for some odd reason. Both of those are gross I used to be able to drink 2% but as I got older it started seeming like it was clumpy like cottage cheese so I said no thanks. And my taste buds changed I guess. I’ll drink chocolate milk too and strawberry and orange.
