I have been impressed with the UOA's on Valvoline Maxlife...Is it OK to run it in a Doge Hemi with only 32,000 miles? I was thinking of running the 10w30. Truck does towing duty for moderate distances in the Ohio summer heat...Thanks!!
The data sheet says "safe" for new and rebuilt engines.
They also say it has "extre cleaning agents". My engines are clean even at 180K so I would prefer base stock over cleaning agents. Otherwise seems like good stuff if at the right price.

I think your owners manual calls for 5W-20 "ONLY" in the HEMI. I believe you can ruin an engine part using a thicker oil. Someone here may be able to say more on this topic. That's all the info I recall - from a past thread here about using anything other than 5W-20 inside your engine.
His Hemi would run on the 10w30 but if it is a MDS Hemi then MDS will cease to function, Possibly causing damage to the MDS system. Without MDS I dont see were your hurting anything but running the manifacturer recommened weight is always better.
