I was wondering what everyone here uses to keep your sockets in order... My sidekicks messed up my bin one to many times, so I took some action to prevent the mess up.
I opted to use socket rails... and I customized them to the way I like them. There was nothing more annoying than going into the drawer and finding the 13MM misplaced and having to hunt for it... there's more than 200 sockets within 3 drawers.. and they were "lined up" according to size.. but that only works when someone puts it back.
Although not as popular as I would have thought, I switched everything to RAILS. There's a rail containing all the 3/8ths 12 point metric shallows, a rail for the 12pt shallow SAE etc... about 12-14 rails total now. The theory is that instead of guessing when you crawl under the car, you can just take the whole rail with you, and have 20 sizes under there with you. When you are done, you can see what's NOT on the rail and put it back, wipe it off and put it away.
