Would you expand on that? I agree but have had precious little ammo to push that argument.

Oklahoma winters can be pretty long and cold.
we can see many days in a row of -15 deg F. (Without that nasty wind chill).

I will say, I will start using a mix of 10w-30 and 15w-50 in the truck and jeep. 3 to 2 mix.
 
Mobil-1

Marginal Return. I would not get enough added protection or utility out of the Amsoil to make the price difference worth useing it.
 
No brainer -- Mobil 1 without a doubt. Great oil, relatively low cost and available everywhere.

I've got nothing against Amsoil but given the options I would use Mobil 1.
 
amsoil. its not that hard to find. just look in the yellow pages.i do oil changes at 12000+ and the oil holds up very well
