Looking at Pontoons, know nothing about them, what to buy?

I 2nd the advice to max out the HP rating. Not much to go wrong with pontoons except rotted decking.

You can get pontoon boats with twin 450 outboards now...crazy.

40 mph? Not even close.

I rent 22 ft Bennington tritoons every weekend with 150 hp mercury and top speed is 25 mph. With 5 or more people? About 22 mph
