If applying for jobs, here is a tip

Geez Wayne i have been booted from here before.... 😁
I get reprimanded here once, and to this day, still no idea why...doesn't really matter either, I actually found it funny.
Showed my grandmother, wife, and best friend, what I had posted, and they couldn't figure it out either. So long ago now, that I can't remember what it was.
As an employer, I don't care about small stuff found on social media, just the huge red flag issues.

LOL, I once knew this middle aged guy that had a law degree, first in his class grad but worked retail and always in struggle.

He was always jumping job to job and would post that on his social media pages, I'm needing a job he would say and most recently posted about he discovering the benefits of receiving personal mental heath care and I had the thought don't you understand a prospective employer will look at your silly FB post and NOT hire you?

To think, someone can be smart enough to graduate Summa cum laude and finish with a Juris Doctor degree and then not be smart enough to keep his trash off his Face Book page!

I'm just a stupid high school drop out.

They can peruse my old MySpace and AznAve accts if they want to. It's in that disclaimer for employers to screen social media accounts when you apply online nowadays.

Some people are TMI and they need to listen what comes out sometimes.

Some of it is absolutely unimaginable to me.

They'll post about illegal hunting, stuff they've stolen, cheating on their spouse, how horrible their boss is and the hatred for them, and more.

I was about to hire a guy last week, he interviewed well, and had some good experience. But upon checking his social media, many huge red flags, so I passed. Several people I almost hired, before checking their social media accounts, weren't hired, after doing so.

Red flags like what….. ?

*** Edit ***
I always check the person’s name at a few online county Clerk of Courts in the surrounding areas of where they live and previous address.

It’s free and I found out about the person if they had any legal issues, bankruptcy, eviction, DUI, getting sued for not paying credit cards, vehicle repos, divorce, insurance disputes, HOA disputes, not paying their taxes, etc….

Example:
Orange County (Florida) Clerk of Courts
