It was about $2000 - high demand and low supply.What's expensive? I can't give a 2013 Nissan engine with 69,000 miles away.

I agree, KIA is the same way.I read both of the entire extended warranty packets we got on both of the 2013 Elantras our sons own and it is a "lifetime" warranty up to I believe 120,000 miles. The extended warranties are not for unlimited mileage.
2000 for another engine that may do the same thing? LS swap... I kid.It was about $2000 - high demand and low supply.
$4100What does hyundai get for and engine, or short block?
HAHAHAH, that's ominous!$4100
My friend called Jasper to see of they re-manufactured this engine and his rep told him no that Jasper won't touch it.
Yeah, garbage pawned off as a wannabe Honda/Toyota. He$@& my ancient 09’ Camry is on original starter and is dead nuts, stone cold reliableKia/Hyundai lost their way. (Grew too fast)
I bought an Elantra for my mother in 2000 I believe.
She ran it to death and sold it and had no issues with it.
@53' Stude I agree.
I can only imagine. A long block LTG 2.0 is like 7000 to 8000 dollars.What does hyundai get for and engine, or short block?
If is "fixed" like it won't happen again that isn't horrible I suppose.$4100

2011 when they started using Theta II GDI engines. Those are the ones with the most problems and have the lifetime warranty settlement. The engine in this thread is the 1.8L Nu MPI and some people had issues with it too.
I'm betting the phrase went something like: "We're on a roll guys, now how do we do it cheaper?""2011 when they started using Theta II GDI engines." "I don’t know what went wrong with Hyundai after that."
Let he who is without oil throw the first rod.Yea verily, Thy rod and thy crank don't comfort me.
