I wouldn't shoot anything at it just in case it is endangered or protected in your area. If it was my chicken coop I would probably double fence it so that the mountain lions can't yank the chicken out.
This.Stand-off electrical fencing perhaps?
Yes.. Better yet, play Cardi B and it will not return.somewhere I heard a radio (am/fm) will freak them out . . . . ??
tune into a station, a little volume & see what happens.
I was thinking John Denver but the animal rights people would probably get pissed .Yes.. Better yet, play Cardi B and it will not return.
Cool pic of the bobcat and your red dobe.Cool pics.
I enclosed it years ago. Before we got the birds. Spent tonight after work tightning it and making sure there are no holes the cat can get through. You have to enclose the top part of the fence, or close the chickens in the coop at night. I have chickens, and once bobcats or a fox knows they are there, it will be back almost every night. My chicken coop has chicken fence on all sides including the top, and I close them in at night. It's the only way.
This. It’s a nuisance animal.Call the game warden if you don't want to kill it.
