Dealer just called, stated the compressor is defective and needs replacement. I am more thinking the symptoms might align with @Chris142 informal thought of a blown fire that controls the ac system.

Did you know it's easier to get parts for a Ford Model A than it is for a 2025 Sierra or any 2025 diesel pickup ?

Then it's YOUR FAULT. It's been pointing out over and over and over again on here how dealers are not your friend. It's incumbent on you to do the homework on YOUR VEHCLE AND WHAT'S COVERED. Between various vehicle forums and the manufacturers website there is absolutely no shortage of resources.
Respectfully I am also a strong proponent of people being proactive and well informed but that is not an excuse for blatant dishonesty. That being said this type of thing would really be beyond the pale.
