well I had to change this filter cuz the ADBV was leaking. These filters mount base down and it would empty the filter in a few hours after shut down. Not that big of a deal, but it was causing the injector pump to have a horrendous clatter at startup until oil pressure came up. This injector pump made it 40 years before needing to be rebuilt I'm hoping for 40 more, lol

From IH Hydro 70 w/D312 engine 9 months and 51 hours. Mag1 5w-40 syn.

Only the offending filter was changed (uses two of the same oil filter)

oh and I forgot to talk about the ADBV.. it was very pliable, looked good, no cuts or tears.

Nice looking filter, and the efficiency isn't bad at 98.7% @ 25 microns. Looks like it has tons of media area ... did you make a measurement?

no I didnt, but the specs list it as 682 sq in.

Solid looking filter, higher efficiency than the automotive/pc applications I've seen posted here.

What's the part in the lower left hand corner first pic? Looks similar to the spacer rings used on Wix lower tier made fors not using thread end bypass.

Thanks for the pics.

That Baldwin is one good looking filter, I'm looking for the spec's of a BT-353 oil filter but can't seem to find any. All I can find is the size of the filter not the micron rating of the filter. I looked at the Baldwin site and can't fine the info(micron and sq. in. of filter media)) for Baldwin filters that you posted, did that come out of a catalog and not off their web site?
If you have the info for that BT-353 filter can you post it for me.

Thanks,
ROD
