Does anyone know what % synthetic Mobil Drive Clean Blend is?
I think it was destined to be with the new Phos Cap of 1000ppm and lower Zinc levels,,along with EC-III in low cost OTC oils. IMO not anything to do with forum discussions. They had to do something,,well some did not it's evidentquote:

Amazing to me that in the last 2 years ( about the time Bob and I traded barbs on Noria about Moly adds)that many of the OTC oils are using Moly in the 70 - 120 ppm range.
Especially EXXON MOBIL'S M1.
But look at the new Pennzoil 5/20 with 186ppm of Mo and it's 1.24 per quart.quote:

Got to admit Terry, it has been an interesting ride to say the least on how people and companies have become more informed on the use of moly over these last couple of years as well as now using moly.
Glad to see schaeffers has stayed way ahead of the game.. as you know, they carry more than just moly and zddp for better wear protection. Wonder how long it will be before they start getting up to that level? I suspect though that when that happens the cost of that oil will be a bit more than schaeffers is.
