I ran 5w20 in my 2016. Eventually I started using Lubegard Biotech in mine to quiet it down. Absolutely loved that truck/motor, was an excellent ride.

2020 Ram 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab 5.7 etorque. Schaeffer's Supreme 9000 Full Synthetic 5W20 with a Mobil One filter. I change it when the computer tells me to. Occasional pull our Winnebago Micro Minnie travel trailer on long trips, The 2 axle trailer weights about 4000 lbs. The Ram pulls like the trailer isn't their, even thru Pennsylvania's Allegheny Mountains. The gas mileage is awful, but the torque is great. Love the ride!!!

Not picking on you in particular but I really hate this phrase. What does it even mean to you? To me, if a truck is towing in the same gear it would empty, then "it can't feel it". If you're in 7th or 6th like I suspect you are when towing that on the freeway, the truck most definitely feels it.
