I stay with the 10w-30 in with your given climate and towing conditions. Just my .02

Manuals that I have or have had would suggest a 10w-30 for that temperature range.

Loved my little Catera when I had it. For the 2 1/2 years I had it, nothing ever happened until I went to trade it in (still under warranty) but the head gasket went out. It was a very comfortable car and my passengers always loved the heated seats all the way around. :)

Also note that TBN is not linear to miles driven. There's no telling how much longer this oil could have gone. I don't believe it was spent. Just my 2 cents.

I've recently cross-referenced two Quaker State filters and their part numbers were identical to the Fram with the exception of the prefix. Currently they are noted to be Purolators in the original post?? Any thoughts? QS4967 & PH4967 was one set of comparisons.

Enter the competitors part number here on Fram's website. Not that I chose to use their filters but found all I ever needed for cross-referencing. Now to find the cheaper alternative!
