Just got my 06 Jeep Liberty with A/T. Is it alright to use Amsoil ATF as it appears to be for all automatics not just Chrysler? Chrysler specifies their ATF4+. Thought I better check before I change it. Thank you.
Good luck with the Jeep, and my Amsoil ATF bottle says +4 compliant so...
If you're really interested, PM one of the Amsoil sponsors on the forum. Those guys seem to really know they're stuff and can add suggestions for interval, etc.
Welcome to Bitog!
I've been using the Amsoil Universal ATF (in substitute of ATF+4) in our 2 Chrysler 300Ms for over a year now with no problems. 60K miles with a pan drop and filter replacement coming soon. UOA showed great results at 50K. Available in the transmission UOA forum here.
I did a drop pan service to Grandma's 2003 Town and Country van, using Amsoil ATF, when there was about 20,000 miles on the odometer. The van still runs great at 75,000 miles.

bobcat7 - It's fine to use Amsoil ATF in the liberty. I have a quite a few customers now using it with no issues.
