Slab bacon from the butcher stand at the local farmers market. Nothing at the grocery store compares
Not limp, not crispy: TMI!I like it cooked just not crispy. Not limp but not crispy either. A nice in the middle cook is good for me. We always have to tell them at restaurants not crispy. I didn’t think non crispy bacon wasn’t fully cooked .
Appleton Farms is good stuff. Their Maple chicken sausage patties are very good too.My gut is never happy after pork bacon for some reason. Thankfully Aldi has this turkey bacon. To me it actually tastes better. Doesn't give stomach issues like real bacon does. Overall a healthier option. An as a bonus - it's usually half or third of the price of traditional pork bacon.

Mine would. He'll eat anything.I'll break from the thread and post my least favorite bacon.....that's the cardboard bacon commercial food companies use to wrap scallops with for wedding receptions. That stuff isn't worthy of contempt.
I doubt a hungry dog would eat it.
Yeah...that's not bacon, it's hamCanadian bacon, but I don't fry it. I just slice it and put on sandwiches like any other cold cuts.
