Rarely do I buy bacon. When I do, I either buy thick-cut slab bacon from one of three local meat markets or Costco bacon if I need a lot (which is only for one dish that I make once, maybe twice, per year. Usually, I need a small amount for flavor or texture, so two or three slices is all I'll buy from the butcher.

Dunno, never had turkey bacon. Growing up on farm, we had smokehouse and butchered 2 hogs/year

My wife buys it at Costco. I like to bbq it. It's really good but you gotta be fast or it will catch on fire.
