What oil for my 2015 Outback?

We see the non OE type filters seep a lot on Subaru's. I would recommend an oil filter with a round type seal and not one with a square type seal.

0w20 AFE 1 here, because it was the cheapest at the time. ('14 OB and '99 OB). Likely Pennzoil Platium next, would prefer Havoline if I could find it. Never Castrol.

Use Wix 57055 or Wix-made NAPA 7055 filters with the correct bypass setting. Filter is more important with Subbies.

Napa sometimes has a sales on house-brand 0w20. Vavoline made with a slightly weaker add pack... but still very good. Runs $3.50-4 per qt on sale.
