What is your “go to filter” when they are readily available? This isn’t a filter bashing thread I’m just curious as to what you all shoot for when buying your filters.
I typically run a Mobil1 M1-209 on my Ranger with the 3.0L and if I can’t find one at my local stops I’ll grab a Wix XP. I do like using Fram Ultras too, but the last two OCI’s I haven’t been able to find the one for my Ranger in stock locally.

#1 M1. Currently in my Tacoma and the wife’s Corolla.

#2 Fram Ultra. Currently on my daughter's Yaris.

I do 5k change intervals so I don't feel like the choice of filters is super critical. I mostly use Supertech or other e-core filters, but also Motorcraft when they are on sale.

Usually whatever is cheapest. On my Escort I'm using filters I bought years ago on closeout sales for about $ .25-$1 each. Some are Castrol, Pensky, Car & Driver and AC. The ones I'm using on the Versa are Parts Plus filters made by Premium Guard that I bought from Rock Auto. They were $2 each including shipping cost. As you can tell I have no preference. I've used many different brands over the past 45 years.

Don't really have one.

For the '18 Santa Fe, it is OEM, mainly because I can get them for cheaper than other filters and they work. I buy 2 or 4 at a time to get the better price, so they are "readily available" at home.
For other H/K products, I am liking the Supertech ST9688, if none available, then an orange can Fram.
For my Fords, no real preference, will use almost anything.
For the Scion, no idea, I have a stash of several filters (Bosch, Mobil 1, Tough Guard, Car Quest Blue). If I had to go buy one today, probably a Fram Orange can.

For my Goldwing, it will probably be either a Tough Guard or a Napa Platinum (if they are on sale for 1/2 price).

My preference is the Fram Extra Guard. I’ve been using them for decades on all my cars. I also buy the Hengst cartridge oil filter for my GM Ecotec since they are available at Walmart and they are the OE filter.
