I think that’s why she keeps telling me to deal with it nowAs I get older I have less of a desire to " collect " things . It's just something else that the family will have to deal with when I'm gone .
I can see that. Used to have a friend whose parents always went to yard sales. In the 90's when I visited, the 1700 sq ft home on LI was filled to every ceiling with stuff. We came home after a night of partying, and when we went to leave the next morning, I could not find the keys to the rental car. Visions of $200 to replace the fob ran through my mind. Luckily, my friend's mom who knew very well how things were laid out (looks like hoarding to anybody else), was able to find the keys.As I get older I have less of a desire to " collect " things . It's just something else that the family will have to deal with when I'm gone .
I'm in the same mindset, too.As I get older I have less of a desire to " collect " things . It's just something else that the family will have to deal with when I'm gone .
Well, at least your are living my dream (new Tahoe). There are times I just say, get it. It's not that mysterious or undoable....I think that’s why she keeps telling me to deal with it now
When the "Old Man" on Pawn Stars was asked - keeping in mind all the cool stuff that comes through his doors - if he collected anything, he replied, "Hundred Dollar Bills".I collect money.
You don't collect chopsticks or fortune cookies? What gives? One thing I haven’t mentioned in my last two posts is shot glasses and just regular pint glasses too. Particularly anything baseball related or history related in those two things. Just picked up two more today at the antique store. And baseball hats and tool related hats. Heck what don’t I collect? Lol.
