What are you eating right now?

Hamburger and street fries.

Hamburger. Not sure if meat. Not recognizable. Thumb sized hole in top of bun. Basically a wafer thin see through piece of "meat"(?)
Street fries. Had to try them. Didn't like them. Ewwwwe.

Better now, just a bit gassy. Did play over 3 hours of pickleball so I got electrolytes.
Bessie's revenge. 👻🐄

Local family made tofu 😍

I feel a bit like I'm in Costa Rica. Coconut fresh off the tree is standard fare there. Bring a machete! This nut is from the market.

Electrolytes!

So helpful, lol
Do you have a license to spice? :ROFLMAO:

I use all the usual stuff and some not so usual spices like mugwort, lovage, celery seeds, juniper berries, and laurel leaves. When I eat out I carry my shichimi shaker. Almost got banned from a few places over bringing my own spices or my own mustard. I feel like a criminal when I covertly spice restaurant chicken.

"Honey, can you please take your blouse off? My chicken is bland and we need to distract the staff."

I can't say that I've ever thought about secreting illicit seasonings into restaurants.

Mugwart is such a dreamy herb. Gotta lay off it, myself... and be sure to avoid it entirely if you ever get pregnant, LOL. Celery seed is the secret to an awesomely dressed hotdog. As for juniper berries, you can't mean you use them in things other than gin? Shocked face!

The other day my wife was excited to see me open an Amazon box with bags of Turkish Sumac and Za'atar as she's been talking about this Lebanese chicken dish called Musakhan with humus ever since she had some on a trip to Israel just prior to COVID.

You should try it. It's frowned upon so totally worth doing.

Juniper berries for marinades and pickles! Natural diuretic!
