What are you eating right now?

I'll play. There are a few things on that list I do not care for: ketchup (okay with fries but not my preferred condiment), snails, white chocolate, Nutella. Not sure about the "lettuse." Is that a French crisphead? 😀

To get back on topic, I made pancakes for dinner. I make my pancakes large, usually at least 8 inches across. I make them thin and crispy. If I want them extra crispy I substitute a little of the milk in the batter with sparkling water. Then I get the more bubbly type pancake. I ea the pancakes either with maple syrup, fruit spread, or sprinkle some sugar-cinnamon mix over them. If I make crepe, I usually top them with whipped cream and berries or chopped fruit and rolle them up. I washed them down with a large mug of coffee. I'm usually a tea drinker.

Eggs, flour, milk (some sparkling water), pinch salt. Nothing else. Fried in butter.

Standard pancake, >8 inches across, 1/8 inch thin

Extra crispy, >8 inches across, 8 inch thin

Hopefully real maple syrup and not that fake stuff you get in the plastic containers at the store that has big names on them. I love real maple syrup from a glass bottle so much better.

I'm not going to dignify this with an answer other than that when I say maple syrup I mean maple syrup.

This was my lunch an hour ago. I made a sandwich with a lightly buttered and toasted Dutch crunch roll. It had sliced turkey breast, Swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce tomato, avocado, finely sliced red onions and a couple sliced gherkins on it.
