I posted a bunch of video of said violence...as I recall the thread was deleted.

Doesn't work that way. The Police presence at a WalMart for a sale like that, acting sort of as security, would be a special duty like traffic control for the light company, Police/security at a sporting event, etc... WalMart will have to pay the Police Dept for the officers to be there. It is not something the tax payer covers as it is not considered general duties. WalMart foots the entire bill and it isn't cheap!
