I really doubt that any name brand oil is cheapened to meet the Wally price point.
It is more a mater of the makers accepting Wally's buy price to gain the volume only Wally can provide.
It would be interesting to know what fraction of the DIY market for motor oil Walmart represents.
I would bet it's close to 20%.
