See signature. I know from past experience that my conditions tend to be easy on oil, setting aside application.
I intend to go for extended OCI's and UOA's to see how far I can stretch it out. So far, I am very happy with the Castrol. It is Group III per Safety Data Sheet. I will watch for oxidative thickening, and keep in mind that "TBN is not linear." The Castrol is made in Austria, has a foil sealed cap, and has VW 508.00/509.00 as the one and only certification on the bottle. It is also half the price of Motul.
