Using LC with Auto-RX rinse oil?

Best not to combine add in multiple chemistries at the same time. Run the rinse phase and then add either LC, or a maintenance dose of ARX to subsequent oil changes.

One thing that is confusing to me is that on the LC site they say that LC can be used as engine flush as well?

a.) “Liquifies carbon and varnish.” Yes it will do that and do it well. This was proven by the author as explained in the Experiments section. LC will also free stuck rings.


So I was thinking to use it at the end of my rinse cycle to help rinsing oil get the crap out..

Is this a good idea?

Two competing chemistries. I recommend follow the directions for Auto-Rx and then use the LC after the rinse. JMO.

The LC web site directions does not take in consideration, (and they do not need to) the Auto-Rx clean and rinse. Their directions are for use of their product.

My recommendation is don't use LC until after complete ARX "rinse" cycle.

Let the ARX do it's job and then consider using the LC as maintenance AO/cleaning.

I just passed 1500 miles with auto-rx and delvac 15w40 in my engine. Out of those miles, first 500 was around the town and last 1000 was a long trip to TN so all interstate driving 70-80mph with oil temp around 225F.

I have delvac 15w40 for rinse and I was wondering is it ok to use LC in the rinse phase as well?

I like both products and use them both. I agree with the experts above about not mixing them! Let Auto-RX do it's thing before you use LC or 131!
