Have you noticed that every time you get on a dealership’s website, that chat window with a HAWT girl who looks like a model in the picture always pops up? I wonder if she really works there?

Is there any doubt in your mind?

Friend of mine ordered a Maverick Hybrid in October 2021. Dealer has no idea when it will be built at this point. The person that ordered it is all excited because they are convinced they will be getting up to 50mpg. Not sure why they think this, but they will most likely be a little disappointed.

Ford and Chevy dealers are still marking up new cars over sticker. Corporate doesn't care as long as the markups are disclosed upfront. They are trying to prevent dealers from adding the markups during the negotiation process and surprising buyers. However, if the markup is listed on the window they really don't care about that as it is full disclosure.
