Don't be surprised if you find a roach or an empty pint in your new Chrysler vehicle.

That video is hilarious. "Hai guiz, hate be a buzz kill but shouldn't you be building cars?"

Ahhhhhh, I see the Fox bashers have already arrived. Nothing to add to the subject matter at hand. Typical. Which means I can only assume one thing scdevon; you're like one of the people in the video who supports the illegal consumption of drugs and alcohol in public and workers building cars while intoxicated.

Please tell me I'm wrong!

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

These guys weren't even TRYING to hide what they were doing.

A lot of the criticism that is made of the morals and work ethic of blue-collar workers seems pretty justified here.

Good luck defending this one, union apologizers! HA!

Since "We the People" own a fair bit of Chrysler, I think we should see more of what is going on with our "investment."

Let's have more news coverage inside the GM and Chrysler plants that are supported with taxpayer money, not less.

Three cheers to Fox for looking out for my investments.

Our local DA was caught going to bars during lunch and driving back to the office [censored] faced drunk in public vehicles.

I routinely see people in suits and ties driving nice vehicles smoking pot in their vehicles.

The fact these UAW idiots did this at this point in time and in such plain view is a disgrace.

The union's job is to maximize inefficiency so these workers are just doing their job.

Just another way to force the employer to hire more people and for the union to get more dues from them.

And people still want to blame everyone else for the demise of the big three? That's why Toyota,Honda, and Nissan are the powerhouses that they are here in the states. People that care nothing about themselves sure don't care about the quality of what they do. The UAW? They are part of the problem. The workers should have been fired and replaced with workers that can pass a -- test every month.

nothing new there, that's been going on longer than I've been around. I used to work in a shop where one of the guys would go out to his car at lunch and do a line of coke, smoke a doob and drink a pint of vodka every day. His heart finally gave out and he dropped dead one day, but I guess he had a good time.

That's a brutal way to put it, but it's true.

Realistically, someone is going to catch flack for "failure to supervise properly", because properly cornered with a thick employee handbook, a low level employee can do no wrong.

Oh, and that newscast is the property of the individual reporting Fox (network) affiliate, not fox news.

When I was working in union shops, many of the old timers were Vietnam vets and seeing how they cheated death on the front lines they came home and lived life on the wild side.

I dunno about that, these guys atleast left the property to do their drinking.

Anyways, I'm very sure that drinking at lunch or on breaks happens 1,000,000 times a day all over the country... Unionized workers or not. How many "customer service" reps have you talked to on the phone that seem half wasted?

We could debate this endlessly, but I'd say it's more serious when it happens in this instance than another.

Why? They're building cars that will eventually go out on the road. A mistake from being intoxicated during the assembly process could cost someone their life.

I guarantee you none of the people caught will lose their job permanently.

And, not that I need to remind anyone, taxpayer money is fueling this madness 100% at the moment - Chrysler isn't profitable. right now.

Spot on.

I can't be any more apathetic about this story. What a waste of human flesh.

I won't even begin to expound on my feelings on unions.

You guys didn't even read the article did you.

'm very, very disturbed about what I just saw in the video and I want to make it clear that we at Chrysler take it very seriously. For us this behavior is totally unacceptable and will be dealt with swiftly. In fact, we've already identified a few of the people involved in this incident. Each of them has been suspended indefinitely, without pay, pending further investigation. We'll continue to pursue this in fact, until we're done.
