Absolutely better. Take a look at the VOA of WS here, and you'll discover that it's maybe a blend at best so it is not synthetic.
I beleive most folks here suggested it was nothing but a blend, if i remember right.
Remember, it's Amsoil's (ATL) fluid for WS applications and not ATF. They carry both, and the ATL is in a blue bottle and the (L) stands for low viscosity.
