Perhaps my metabolism is kinda off but i get about 5-6 hour window after decent meal before i start feeling hungry again, that is even when i don`t work or doing effort. I`ve met people who can sit whole evening and night drinking (girls) and not touching food, but me i eat like a animal at night... So any one else who feel same way?

Sounds pretty normal. Men do have a higher metabolic rate than women so they need to re-fuel more often.

I’m currently doing a “One meal a day” diet to lose weight.

Most days I eat from 2pm to 5pm and then nothing, zero calories until the next day at 2pm. Just black coffee in the morning.

It took a while to get used to, but now it’s surprising how I don’t feel that hungry until close to my eating time.

what you eat makes ALL the difference, carbs raise sugar-glucose that raises INSULIN + makes you HUNGRY!! proteins are better BUT healthy fats raise insulin the least + satisfy the longest!! modern wheat products are the WORSE with amylopectin A that raises your glucose FASTER than plain sugar + of course FRUCTOSE is WORSE killing your LIVER + whole or organic makes little difference on hunger. check out Dr Sten Ekburg, Ben Bickman among others. your INSULIN levels are most IMPORTANT for HEALTH + FEW Drs test our fasting insulin which is a more informative health marker!!

I used to be hungry ALL the time.

In 2025 that ain't natural. As stated above, a person needs to start training now. No need to starve for 3+ days, but move breakfast out an hour or two every couple days, then eventually work up to not eating in the morning and only eating between 12 Noon and 6 PM. Sounds like a lofty goal, but trust me, it becomes easy when your body feels so good!

One meal a day works for some people but not for most and should not be exercised by those with diabetes as blood sugar levels experience very wide swings that are very bad for those people. Also, I personally never eat till I'm full or very full, just to be 'about to get full' level. It's my understanding that last meal of the day should be finished at least 1hr before going to bed, and at least 2hrs if meal was heavy quantity wise or 'cuisine' wise.

Now that I’m on the Mounjaro, I can go from eating a decent-sized breakfast to dinner time before feeling hungry. I usually do that on weekends. During the week I’ll eat more frequently, but small portions. I’m down over 50 lbs since October. A1C in the low 5’s now.

When I first started, if I ate a decent -sized breakfast, I’d get a little nausea and would have to force myself to eat a small, late dinner to make the nausea go away.

good luck with the GPL drug, check out ben bickmans glp vs kito, an ok temporary helper BUT !!!! in the long run

I get into the carb/sugar craving rut from time to time, and need regular meals and crave a snack before bed.... Not good for my health or belly.
What works for me to break it, is to first just eat some veggies at night, broccoli or cucumbers fill you up with not much sugar, then replace lunch with a near zero sugar/carb meal with veggies and some proteins. And also reduce carbs for breakfast and dinner, and eventually I find my blood sugar stays more stable all the time and missing a meal doesn't matter too much.

Your body knows the time you normally eat. Like feeding a cat at 4am a few times, and now they always expect you to feed them at 4am.

I eat small meals. An early light breakfast, usually something simple for a late lunch or early dinner, and maybe something very light later in the evening. But generally, I'm a two-meal-a-day guy with maybe a snack thrown in there somewhere. Yesterday, or maybe the day before, it was a small, freshly-made, German pretzel. Always lots of liquid, usually loose leaf tea that's cool or at room temp.

Every once in a while I just gotta pig out, and I'll have milk or coffee and too many cookies or baked goods from the local bakery. Maybe eat three or four meals during a 24-hour period. I love a big bowl of pasta with a home made sauce, a big tuna, salmon, or chicken salad, home made chili ... and once or twice a month I'll be in the drive thu line somewhere. Last weekit was at Burger King for a double cheeseburger.
