Almost quit cycling, but I'm back on the saddle again

Our family had an unexpected death on Monday, which required me to ride on Tuesday so I could clear my mind.

A quick perusal but incomplete review of my previous times showed a quickest of 1:29:37. Yesterday was 1:41:07. That's a big gap, but I wasn't pushing hard yesterday because of the family situation and the fact that I don't want to give myself 72 year old body a heart attack by pushing too hard given my relatively poor fitness at the moment.

FWIW,

Scott

Scott, I find this thread, and you, to be fascinating. I wish you luck, and applaud you for getting back on the bike.
