Areas like mine with bag bans in effect are making this harder for that person at the entrance. Lots of people buy stuff and either take it out by hand or loose in the cart. It’s just a random check that takes a moment.
:ROFLMAO: I know. Yesterday there was a little old guy there and I offered it to him and he waved me off. :LOL:Its just a mood / power thing for some of them. Its just another stupid thing walmart does to people. I have not been checked out by one of their cashiers in about 3 years. "self checks" all over the place and they stand around. I know walmart screws their workers over too.

LOL At times , I tell them "Uh ,NO you don't NEED to see my receipt" They usually just stare in space with blank expression. Now if they try to follow or pursue. (only had one clown try that) I told him "Back off UNLESS you are here and now acussing me of theft and are willing to call the police." Do not do that always just when I am grouchy. It blows their mind and they back off. I saw this talked about on a legal show and they went into the fact that Walmart is the only retailer who does this constantly. Legally they can not stop you like they do sometimes piling people by the exits.
Sounds like you’re power tripping Sammy. If you act like a thief you’ll be treated like one.

You're not wrong. Once you pay for your merch and leave the register, those items are now your property and WalMart can't detain you for a receipt or bag check without reasonable suspicion. However, if their LP team thinks you put a Fram Ultra in an Extra Guard box or it looks like you have a bottle of Lucas Fuel Treatment in your pocket, they can hold you until police arrive if they're accusing you of shoplifting

However, if you are a member of a store like Sam's Club or Costco, it may be in your terms and conditions that they can door check you because its not a public store and you signed their agreement.

🙌;) ME? LOL - I am a powder puff. YET I will be the bystander you see on Tv who get himself knocked out trying to stop a fight or take up for someone being mistreated. Can't help that. I just go off too fast without thinking. I got myself in over my head a couple times and got out by some miracle, unharmed. GOD must look over those of us like that!

I am in walmart (less than 1 1/2 miles from my house... ) so much that they probably have a full length movie on me. :ROFLMAO:

So their workers just stand around, yet they are being screwed? Who is screwing who in that scenario?

I have never been asked by a wally employee to see my receipt when leaving and never seen anyone else get asked, hmmm, I may have to act suspicious next time and see what happens.
I went with the girlfriend to the Wal Mart near her place this morning. All we bought was DOVE plain body wash for her and some half and half for coffee. Young man saw I had my receipt in hand and asked to see it. I showed him and he couldn’t tell we bought DOVE body wash. The girlfriend had to read it to him. Shake my head somedays

All benefits for Christmas for us all the enjoy. Yes I'm waiting on that new Christmas Carole the twelve days of looting!

Hey guys!

I was wondering if any of you have had any experience with Walmarts in-house brand of oil "Super Tech" was looking at there "Full Synthetic" and "Advanced Full Synthetic"
It’s as good as any oil needs to be. Just keep it changed at a reasonable interval you will be fine. People seem to overthink the whole what is the best thing. In reality it’s hard to find an engine oil that isn’t up to modern specs. Unless you get a way off brand oil

Here is my dilemma. For Honda 2.0t, I can change oil every 8-9K miles per MID using $30 Mobil1 EP, or I can change it every 4K miles using $15 Kirkland. Same cost. What is better?

Why wouldn’t you just use the Kirkland to the factory recommended interval? If that is onLu 8-9k that isn’t an extended oil change interval.

Turbo GDI, not sure if 8-9k is too long. I will need to do UOA to see
What does the manual or Oil Life monitor say and what is the nature of the service? Short trips? Long trips? What percentage of miles are from trips 20 minutes or longer? Many ford eco boost are going factory intervals in fleets across the country. Hell I was nervous but went 9-10k on a brand new f150 with the 2.7 for two years and it is 2 years later and that truck is still goi g strong For that company. With a lot of idling and dusty and muddy service.
Vehicles are a large financial purchase and we tend to get emotionally involved, if you think of it and put it in perspective they are a temporary appliance meant to serve us, Not the other way around.
There are many perfectly good engines being crushed in wrecked cars or cars that are no longer useful to the owners anymore due to stinking discomfort ugliness whatever it’s just some metal that we pay a lot for yet engine failure is not a leading cause of separation from the owner
