Prius driver...needs a pair
So apparently having a PhD make you qualified to instruct on how to drive on the road?
City driving is far tougher than country driving, IMO. Im sure eighteen people will have reasons why this isnt the case, but its my opinion. The ability to share the road is critical, as is knowing when to be tough and hold your ground.
Also, Id say the prius driver had a pair, in his passive-aggressive use of the road. If he was doing it in spite, he had a pair.
Was the prius driver in question inconsiderate? Absolutely. But unless he was below the minimum speed for the road, Im not sure there is any regulation that says that you MUST drive AT the speed limit.
That said, if youre maximizing economy by going slow, and holding folks up, they should be more considerate. Accelerating slowly is one thing, in some circumstances. Going at low speed for long times is another. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, just need to let others get by.
The prius attacks though are just funny. I see a ton of folks in priii going way faster than most of the traffic around here. Kind of the, I want to do 85 but not pay as much for it, kind of crowd.
If the situation was a fully-laden u-haul pulling a trailer, would it be any different?
