That is just victim-blaming and man-shaming. The posters here are merely stating their experiences, and from everything I've heard/experienced in real life and read online, they're not alone.

This just goes to the double standard in our society regarding men. If women complain about their men or their ex-husbands, they're "just being honest" or "trying to warn other women." Men who do the same are called resentful and bitter.

(We'd all be better off, men and women both, if we'd never passed that Nineteenth Amendment.)

I'm just trying to say not all women are crazy and vultures like some guys are saying they are. Some BITOG members exaggerate just a little when talking about women.

At least you have the courage to say what many believe.

What kind of women do guys associate with? Geeze, look who the men of the republican party choose to run for president... Even disregarding his politics and policies, he is not presidential material.

I couldn't agree more. We are expected to live up to that John Wayne stereotype.

I will now turn in my man card, and I expect that you will have to also. Your excellent comments are too truthful for most men to bear.

I turned in my faux man card once I grew into a man.
You can do the same.
What I see in this thread is a bunch of guys objectifying women and then wondering why they can't find a decent one.
Well, duh.
It starts with recognizing a woman as your equal. If you can't do that then you'll never have an honest and durable relationship and a woman who is objectively not your equal is nobody you should be wasting time with, kind of the way that most of us don't waste a lot of time on other men we consider unintelligent.
A little slap and tickle by itself doesn't make for a durable relationship with any woman and if that's all someone has going on, then he'd best run for the hills and not the altar.
