Shell Ultra and Ultra diesel 5w40

I'm just ordering 12L case for wife's and my car. Mine is diesel that requires b4 and wife's is petrol a3 oil car. I would like to buy one oil to cover both cars. Looking at specs Ultra looks little better but maybe im not reading it correctly. Both are MB 229.5 approved and both meet FIAT 9.55535-z2 specs. I find that good enough, but diesel version of oil is only b4 without a3 specification. What should I choose if it makes any difference?

Whell normal Ultra is a3/b4 and Ultra diesel is only b4.I'm not sure if dedicated Ultta diesel would be any better for my diesel since both oils are b4 specced. . Probably not. Will try to post links to both oil data sheet later.

I'm guessing these are the two oils? http://www.epc.shell.com/Docs/GPCDOC_Loc...28hr%29_TDS.pdf http://www.epc.shell.com/Docs/GPCDOC_Loc...28hr%29_TDS.pdf Based on the technical characteristics, I'd say they're the exact same product packaged in a different bottle, so that the diesel owners get that warm and fuzzy feeling when seeing the word "diesel" written on the label. ExxonMobil has been doing the same thing with Mobil1 0w-40 and Mobil1 Turbo Diesel 0w-40 for years.

I was looking at UK specs and two versions differ from each other there, but oils sold here seams the same. I was on a beach all day so could not see Croatian version on cell phone. Thanks again !
