Runny Eggs and Good Bread Toasted

I have eaten true free range chicken eggs from my property for 20+ years as seen in my post and never had this odor or whatever you are talking about.
Maybe I have a better sense of smell than you. I eat 7 oysters a week for zinc, which is good for the sense of smell.

Some FR eggs have a disgusting odor raw, I've also got the from store bought FR eggs.
Many FR egg farmers wouldn't think of eating one of their eggs raw because they're aware of the odor that tends to make you want to "toss your cookies."

Runny yolks are fine with me, runny egg whites not so much. When they serve me ramen with a raw cracked egg over it I make sure to quickly stir in the egg so it gets cooked. On the other hand, I don't mind downing a couple cold raw eggs. But they just slide down.

Free range can mean different things in the US. Basically it just means they aren't kept in small cages and have some sort of access to the outside. This could be a chicken coop with a door out into a pen. So if you have chickens that roam the pasture it's possible they are eating a lot of bugs, worm etc which no doubt can change the taste.

If you've ever hunted and eaten pheasants you know that one eaten in January is much better than one eaten in November. This is because all they eat during the summer/fall is bugs, high protein, one reason they grow so fast. Once the bugs die they start eating corn and beans.

I really like a runny easy over egg on top of a bacon cheeseburger. Every once in a great while I’ll make them on the grill in the morning. Little ketchup and hot sauce…
Here in Wisconsin at least, if you add a hash brown patty to your list it is often called a "2AM Burger".

Decided to skip the toast … no regrets

I’m not much on eggs unless they are scrambled with cheese. Or hard fried. I absolutely would never eat runny eggs lol I don’t like the yoke anyway. If it’s fried I usually only eat the whites but sometimes I will. I’d take scrambled eggs with cheese and maybe a few other things in them and some raisin toast with apple butter.

Sometimes, simple foods really hit the spot.
I eat a minimum of a dozen eggs a week.
My cholesterol? Under 200, the eggs helped lower it.

HAHA, runny eggs or eggs in most any form gross me out with the look and especially the smell. Reminds me of a news story I saw a while back where women would eat their placenta after giving birth.

It's a shame some of you can't learn how to get the benefits of whole foods like eggs without pouting about the smell or the flavor.
It's probably because some of your taste buds are ruined or spoiled by eating things like ice cream, candy, cakes, pies, donuts, and other processed foods.

Eating is supposed to be enjoyable so if it doesn't smell or taste or look good to you, why eat it? I have no problem eating most cheese, but the smell of most eggs is a turnoff. I'll tolerate scrambled if a small portion. There are only a few other things I won't eat. Insects, raw clams and oysters, organ meats, peanut butter and cooked spinach plus foods that are prepared too hot. I probably left some out, but that's all I can think off right now.

I've learned to appreciate the nutrition in good whole foods, even if they don't taste like a chocolate frappe.
I don't always judge a food on the taste, I judge it on how I feel after eating it, in the following hours, days, and weeks.
For instance, eating a meal of grass fed beef liver one a week really seems to make me feel balanced. So I make a vegetable stir fry, then I add broth and chunks of good quality liver and it makes the most important meal I eat all week. I like it because I found out it likes me.
I eat it and I taught myself to enjoy it because organ meats are 10x more nutritious than muscle meats.

i seen that egg nutrients are sensitive to too much heat, so less cooking is better. i love eggs fried in bacon grease sometimes with other meat + cheeses, NO GRAINS for me. the cereal industry badmouthed eggs years ago for obvious reasons!! eggs especially the yolk are very nutritous + health as are saturated fats!! replacing carby breads with more eggs is a VERY good thing
