There are prominent motorcycle-specific oils that print "JASO MA/MA2" on the bottles but do not display the JASO certification symbol and are not listed. I would think that a major oil manufacturer could be trusted with that.

The oil recommendations from my 2016 Yamaha XSR900 owner's manual. Yamaha is more conservative on the W rating than SAE J300, and shows that 15W can be used down to 30F.

The number before W is not a weight but a cold start rating. For majority of motorcycle riders it can be safely ignored. 10W or 15W doesn’t have any effect on engine protection. Your starter may crank a bit slower in the mornings, but that’s about it.
