Amsoil Motorcycle Oil - why is API rating outdated?

Same thing read for Kawasaki on an old article that did with the superbike machine on WSBK scene, use 0-20 and engine send to Japan for rebuild / inspection, today they claim run Elf HTX 3835 (5/30) or HTX 3830 (0/30) or Motul 300 V2 0W-30.
a special version of this Motul also exist as HRC kit part for CBR 1000 RR SP , Motul 2172H or 2376H
And what is the HTHS viscosity of those oils? That's what really matters. There can be xW-30 oils that are on the thick side of a 30 grade, and due to formulation have a higher HTHS than the ordinary run of the mill xW-30 motor oils. Also, if a motorcycle has an effective oil cooler it would help by keeping a thinner xW-30 oil from thinning down too much in use and keep the MOFT between moving parts adequate.

because I can’t open the tech sheet of HRC specs Motul (something conflict today) , if I remember correctly upside down is somewhere like the Elf one HTX 3830 ,0-30 (don’t remember if gives 40-42 at 40C and 10.5 at 100C)
HTX 3835 is neck to neck to be on Hi 30W and almost to Low 40W

Can’t find newer tech data , but on Total Energy give same SDS until today

The Elf 5W-30 is nearly a 40 grade with a KV100 of 12.36 cSt. And it also has a higher KV100 and HTHS than the Elf 0W-30. If you're going to run a xW-30 grade, then run the one with the highest HTHS, or just run a 10W-40 grade.

When the oil is basically a 40 grade, even though it says 30 grade on the bottle, you're running a 40 grade. Not a 30 grade. At that point, a 10W-40 would be a perfect alternative if we want to get down to the nitty-gritty.
