Their PureOne's web page states "3 months or 3,000 miles." Keep in mind, their extreme high efficiency and low price. However, they also state up to 13 grams of trash, which is quite a lot (unless you are driving through a southwest dust storm)!!
I believe this is for: 1) marketing - so you will buy more filters, and 2) having no control over where you are driving (see above) and the large number of idiots out there who have no clue about maintenance until something goes BOOM under the hood.
This is what the website say.
"Purolator PureONE oil filters should be replaced every 3,000 miles or 3 months depending on the driving conditions - or unless otherwise specified by the vehicle's manufacturer."
