They didn't even rattle off the efficiency footnote on the Purolator website?I asked for efficiency/micron rating and they refused, the customer service was piss poor.

Since when is a Napa Gold not just a Wix with a different sticker on it?Pentius is on Amazon.
PGI filters include Carquest Premium, Microgard Select, Napa Gold, Premium Guard etc.
A couple years now.Since when is a Napa Gold not just a Wix with a different sticker on it?
Recently they changed from M+H made with all kinds of problems, to Highline Warren acting as a middle man from factories in Vietnam and S Korea. Very similar to PGI and Pentius filters. Some have mentioned their love for M1 filters from Wal-Mart. Did something change with them? I thought they were always well-constructed, but only rock catchers.
I see no reason not to use up all of the Pentius filters I bought on sale before I start using the Puroilator and Motorcraft I already had. I think I trust them more than any other maker at the moment.Explore the PGI and Pentius family of filters. Currently top notch QC, at least this month.![]()
Here's what it's about:This case is behind a paywall, but it’s a fair labor standards lawsuit.
James English and James R. English, Jr. .V. Mann & Hummel.
Maybe it’s part of all the reason someone is letting that slop leave the factory.
Because someone is knowingly letting them be shipped..
I couldn’t see any details of the case, for all I know those two guys are to blame.
I'm not psychic, but I'm predicting it will look just like a current Fram inside.
That being said, I always use an AC Delco on my Corvette and haven't had any issues.
My Purolator 20K held up real well, pleats were beautiful, filter was in for my 4th oilSample size of one and all that good stuff.
Bought a Purolator LX7317 at Wally World. I think I’ll continue to pass on Purolator.
Lots of loose glue. I can’t guarantee that that I didn’t knock anything loose cutting the filter element, but I found 3 large pieces of loose adhesive inside the pleats. Lots of loose glue outside the element. Half of the top metal plate didn’t adhere, but I doubt that matters under pressure.

That black sloppy glue has been known to break free and make its way past the bypass and into the engine….pleats do look good.My Purolator 20K held up real well, pleats were beautiful, filter was in for my 4th oil
Change on Valvoline Restore and Protect. Looked lot better than the Fram Ultra I pulled out last oil change.
