Premium Guard PG4612 off of a 2024 Mazda CX-5. 3,800 miles.

Looks good to me. A little excess glue maybe. I have around 27 of these, half are made in Taiwan though.

But who's counting? That's over 100k worth of future changes. How long to get there?
I figure at 5K OCI, that’s 20 filters to get to 100K. Probably 5 years. I had gotten two cases from PG at $.71 a filter. Crazy low price.

I still have a few other filters also. 5 OEM left, plus a handful of other filters for it. Should be good for a long time!

How the heck did you stumble upon that deal?

Is the anti drian back valve going to causing any issue to skyactiv engine?
No. Skyactiv uses a positive displacement oil pump. Vane type which actually has a variable displacement which the engine computer controls.

If you don't understand what a positive displacement pump is, I encourage you to research them. Probably the number 1 misconception on BITOG.
