Post your new battery purchase.

I bought a WM Value type for $55. It was the only one in the rack that size 24f. I just put it in about a week ago. Reads 12.6-12.7 volts at rest overnight, and was fresh. Online it said out of stock. My goal was cheap and this was it. I felt like I won a prize as they have had none at my store for a long time.

I just put a WM value $55 in our corolla today, last one was still working at 4 years, but was leaking out the top. 4 years at $55 is good value to me.

Walmart Everstart Maxx batteries in the 2015 Chevy spark (replaced OEM battery, 2008 Jeep Rubicon (2nd battery since new), and 2 ea. in the 2008 Ram diesel (second set of Everstart Maxx's, old ones were from 2014)). All purchased last month.

Picked up a new Motorcraft BXT-96R-590 finally to replace the (original, factory!) battery in my 2009 Mustang. (see avatar pic). $129 at Ford dealer. Even though she is an occasional weekend car, I think it's been a good battery. 13 years?!! Also lives on a Battery Tender Jr over the winter and extended winter months.

Just replaced the battery in the burglar alarm control panel and the garage door opener . 12v gel cell .

Exchanged an Everstart Plus 96R under warranty today for one of our kid’s Ford Focus. Only lasted 14 months before it straight died. At least I was able to exchange it under the replacement warranty for free. We’ll see how long this one lasts…

Just got a Diehard Platinum H6 AGM. Outgoing is the stock battery from my 2017 Kia Forte. Based on the pictures online this looks like a Deka Intimidator. From outward appearance, it's the exact same battery with different labeling. I found the same battery from different brands with the exact same specs and got the best price I could find.

I just got back from an 800+ mile mile trip (over 2 days) a week before it was slow to start, and I had driven the same 800+ miles to get there a week and a half before that. So at close to 5 years old I replaced it at the first sign of an issue.

I just got this car in 2020 and before that hasn't had a car in 7-8 years. I live in Philly and was using public transportation. Last car was a 96 Maxima that I bought in 98 and kept for 15 years or so. I had never heard of AGM batteries. Those things are expensive.

Got a new Interstate Battery today for the 1989 Mazda B2200. Old one was 8 years old Interstate battery and had to be jumped twice so it was time for a new one. Still have yet to beat our 14 year record with the other Interstate battery from our van. We only buy Interstate or Duralast or Napa batteries because they usually are of the highest quality from what we have found and last the longest. I know there are few manufacturers for them but they have the highest standards.

I forgot to get an installation kit with the felts or grease. Guy who delivered it said use anti seize on the terminals I thought he was joking but he is like no I tell everyone that because it’s what I’ve done for years. I read online apparently a lot of people do it but I’ll be using felts and spray or grease as I don’t feel something like that would be good for a battery.

Wife just got 9 years out of a Napa in her Caddy, not sure who was making them back then but the Mech put another one in.

Since it's under the back seat it makes me wonder if being away from the heat of the engine bay had anything to do with it.

Working on it. Five years into an Oreiilly's three year.

Same here. 5 year old Oreilly Superstart 24F battery still tests good. Tested 688CCA from it's rated 725CCA so looking to replace it at the end of the year.

Interstate MT-86 (Green Top) to replace a 3.5 year old Autocraft Gold for a 2012 Mitsubishi Galant.

Local Costco got a fresh shipment of 24F AGM's so just picked up one the same day. Threw it on a battery tender and tested my new battery tester on the new battery. It had 12.6v when I first bought it before charging and the charger didn't take long to top-off the charge.

875CCA @ 13.01v. Tested w/ a Solar BA9 tester. Which is totally different than my old Solar BA7 tester values, which tested 1050CCA @ 13v.

Bought an Advance Auto Parts 2 year G24F for my neighbor's car after conferring in the auto mechanics section here.
I reported on it then but just found this thread.
The car, 2010 Honda Accord 4 cyl., came with a 51 which was succeeded by two G35's.
What was notable was that shims were needed to fill out the positive clamp on the 35's.
However, the post on the 24F is bigger and fit the cable's clamp perfectly.

Just had to replace the battery on the Ranger in my signature:

OUT: East Penn battery labeled for Family Farm and Home. Original cost $59. Lasted 50 months.

IN: Interstate (Costco) battery Group 58. Cost: $68.99 plus tax.

Bought a 24F 650 CCA Motomaster at Canadian Tire. It was 12.66 V and tested at 820 CCA. It had a sticker that indicated it was recharged 08 22 but it was purchased July 27, 2022. WT. After I got it home I noticed a sticker that said 02 2022. Oh well, I can’t be bothered to worry about it. I’m topping it with a smart charger.
