Nope. I'm pretty sure this Walmart was just clearing old inventory as there were a few other SuperTech MP filters on clearance as well. I'm calling it a win.

Is it a smaller store? Did they get rid of the MPs to make space on the shelf for Fram Endurance fitlers?

Good question. Yes, it's on the smaller side (at least the automotive department is on the small side). I didn't look for the Fram Endurance but there definitely weren't any SuperTech MP filters in the main auto area. I'll take a peek next time I swing through.

I just checked the Walmart website, and looked at a few varieties of MP fitlers, looks like they may be getting rid of them, I wonder if they sold rather poorly except in the sizes that were only available as an MP and not an ST.

FYI, according to Fram's website, the Fram Endurace is a Walmart exclusive - like the Ultra air filter. Surprised it's not sold elsewhere.

When I returned the two Fram endurance filters last weekend; my Wal mart didn’t have any ST white cans or blue cans. I was amazed to say least

Found 4 quarts of this at the ghetto Napa store today. Picked one up just to have I may or may not use it. Has 2004 dates on the bottle. I got it more as a collector item than anything. I will probably go back and get the others on pay day.

Can use it in my truck, Beetle, van or Jeep. Hard to find 10W-40 anymore so had to get some while it was available.
