2020 Ford Ecosport 1.0L Ecoboost

5qt Castrol Edge EP OW-20
Motorcraft FL-910s filter

Castol Edge EP was on rollback to $25.12 at my local Walmart from $27.47. I honestly think they were way overstocked.

Just bought a gallon of Honda HP4 10w40 ($19) for the XR400R and a gallon of Yamalube synthetic 10w40 ($38) for the WR450F. Yes they are both designed for wet clutches and I could probably use either oil in either bike, but I'll be mixing it with my stash of Rotella T4 15w40 and T6 15w40 so it doesn't matter much anyway. The WR is much more highly strung and only holds 24oz oil, so Yamalube synthetic in that one. As an air-cooled bike, the XR may run hotter but also it holds nearly 2 quarts and has an oil cooler, so the HP4 conventional goes in that one.

$14.37 cdn for the oil.
PH7317, $6.98 ea cdn.

Looking at similar oils I’m expecting the HTHS ~ 3.3 to 3.4 cP and Noack ~ 5%

Just 1qt of this 5W30 stuff for top off on my Wifes new Subaru FB25 with 4K on it.
Dang thing is so noisy, it think it is going to disassemble.
The 710 cap says 0W20. I don't think even Magnatec can fix this.
Or the racket could just be a protracted wear- in.

It's SN-rated. Your Frontier should like it.
Yup, now it’s between this and the Mobil 1 0w30 afe I picked up last week for my next oc.

Depending on how I feel at the time, I’ll likely use the 8600es on the frontier and may bump the crv up a grade and throw the m1 afe into it. Decisions, decisions….

I like your likely usage mention here. :)

Castrol oil filter #CAS4386 for an X500 series JD lawn tractor. Also fits 2010 Yaris. Looks like good quality, guaranteed 20,000 miles. That's a lot of trips to the liquor store for beer and cigarettes.

10 gallons of this for dad’s truck. He is worried it’s going to hurt the engine using a different type of oil I told him that’s a myth but he is still convinced. But we drove around almost 50 miles to all the stores and absolutely no Rotella 15W-40 conventional anywhere and he won’t use synthetic. Also got a Cat filter.

2 cases of Mobil 1 ESP 0w20 were delivered for my next change. My 08 Jeep Wrangler 3.8 has a thirst for oil and I just had to replace both catalytic converters. I'm moving to this oil to protect them, on the chance the oil usage poisoned them. I've read quite a bit about this oil and think it will be a good one. I went 0w20 because I've mostly run the recommended 5w20 in this Jeep and it is the only one labeled as meeting API standards (SN for what I just bought, but new stock is SP). I've got a lifetime powertrain warranty, so it needs to meet/exceed API certification specs. I would have probably run 0w30 if it did. I'll run a Fram TG or Ultra in it. I'll be changing the oil today.
