I do it because when I was a kid my mom got pulled over once for speeding on the highway, she was speeding a little but I think they clocked the person in front of her because she wasn't flying over 80 but anyways when they warned her for exceeding the speed limit they also warned her about the lose bowling balls in the back floor board, so I'm always think about heavy-ish stuff that could go flying if I have to brake suddenly.

We just happen to stumble upon them when we're visiting walmart or the auto parts store or whatever and then we get the word out to let others know to be on the look out, plus there's a few ways to check for local store prices on walmart to see if the clearance is available at a store near you, usually if someone posts something at Walmart in the deals forum there will be a link to brick seek to check local stores for inventory and pricing.

How do you guys find these oil clearance sales? I've never seen one, ever, on any synthetic.

In my experience most of them are for certain stores, who sell the oil for such crazy prices it's cheaper at Wal-Mart with no rebate.

I.bought Castrol Edge 0W 40 for the Mini (N18 engine). I got the car a few months ago and have put 2,000 miles on it since. The oil.level has dropped only 1/16 of an inch on the dipstick. I was worried I may have gotten an oil burner.

stopped at Walmart and pennzoil full synthetic was on sale. Even had the oem filter in stock. My wife’s Jeep Grand Cherokee with 45000 miles has seen nothing except PUP since new. Will let you know if it spontaneously combusts once this is used
