Post your latest oil purchase or even filter.

Amsoil EAO80 (Champ Labs) for $5 from a guy on FB Marketplace next town over who sold his truck. Louvers look kinda weak at best but serviceable I suppose for 10k change interval. Just guessing date is from somewhere around 2023, not sure how to decode it for sure.

If it's like the born-on beer dates, it's 06/07/23
It might be Plant or Product #409069 and stamped at 7:20

If that's it, you got fresh stock. Prior owner either maybe sold the vehicle / destroyed the vehicle or didn't like the louvers arrangements in these filters and jumped onto another manufacturer.

Personally, I prefer to purchase filters with round holes.... whenever possible.
You got a great deal, as long as you're satisfied with the media openings.

2018 Equinox 1.5L turbo: Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20 with a MicroGard filter from O'Reilly Auto Parts. Last OC was January 4th and this change had 5,661 miles since the previous OC with the oil life monitor at 25%. I thought I had a couple AC Delco PF64 filters at the cabin garage but I must have used them up, I have a couple in my shop locker at work. So far at 65,564 miles the '18 Nox has been running well with no noticeable oil usage and still gets decent gas mileage. Wife is happy with the car so that means I'm happy.

All I see in stores are the Dexos 2 / SN's
Is that what yours is BAJA?

Both Hyundai dealerships by me have Pennzoil Euro LX 0w30's behind the Service counters.
I asked to read one of the quart jugs and the word Dexos 1 or 2 was absent.

Went out and looked at my jug again in the garage. Says Dexos 2.. Sufficient enough for a 5K OCI for my vehicles.

I decided to try Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, but I never see it on the shelves in my local WM. I ordered it online from WM, it came next day, set on my front porch busted and leaking through the box. I returned it to the store for the refund, went over to the oil section and PUP is of course empty. So I decided to try QSUP next oil change. I been using QSFS for several years now, no complaints. I'm confident my fleet will be in good hands with this QSUP.

QSUP is one of the best deals going at WM right now! I have it in my Civic at the moment and would have continued running it for a few more intervals but then VRP caught my attention so I’m going to use it for a few intervals. But I can definitely see myself switching back to QSUP again 😎

Picked up 2 jugs of PUP 0W-20 at Walmart. In-store purchase qualifies for $25 gift card. My local store doesn’t stock it but the next closest does until they sell out. I combined a trip to Farm & Fleet which is across the street. Also, got a couple PF35L filters for the Pontiac from Amazon. Filters look good but the boxes are flimsy. Two were dented and I returned them replacement. They can easily fall out of the bottom of the boxes and I assume that’s how they get damaged.

If the 100 mile daily drive is mostly city, I'd vote No.
If it's mostly highway (55+), I vote Yes.
Will HPL handle either one?....... evidence here states Yes (by a half-mile).
Sorry Secretariat, you only won the Belmont by 31 lengths (253.2 feet).
